Ethiopian Date Calculatorየቀን ስሌት
Pick a start date, then add or subtract days, weeks or months to find the resulting date on both calendars.
Counting days on the Ethiopian calendar
Adding days or weeks counts real calendar days, so the result already accounts for Pagume and for leap years. Adding months counts Ethiopian months, so 13 months always lands on the same date a year later.
If you add months to a Pagume 6 date and land in a month with no 6th day, the result moves to the last day of that month.
Common uses
Find the christening day 40 or 80 days after a birth, the date of a memorial (tezkar) 40 days after a death, a deadline a number of weeks away, or the date 90 days from today for a visa or contract.
